Inspired by the 18th Century style of the 1920s French cabinetmaker, André Groult, Marc began working on the Pod of Drawers, his second riveted aluminium piece after the LC1, using a similar technique of applying hand-beaten and cut aluminium pieces over a fluid fibreglass form.  He handmade the first Pod of Drawers in London before later finishing the edition in Sydney. The piece has five drawers and painted wood feet.
