Following the launch of the (MONTBLANC M) RED in 2018, Montblanc expanded the collection with the launch of the Signature fountain and rollerball pen. Based on Marc’s design for the original Montblanc M, the updated pens had a brushed palladium nickel body and a precious red resin grip. The pen was used by the governments and entities who signed the Global Fund commitment at the Global Fund Replenishment Conference in Lyon in 2019, and so was named the Signature Pen.
