Long interested in creating a cocktail shaker that minimised the repeated cold on users’ hands, Marc proposed the Cosmo Shaker to Alessi. Made of crystal, which transmits far less cold than the traditional metal shakers, he also added striations to the body of the shaker. This both improved grip and helped to further insulate the hands from the cold contents by decreasing the area of surface contact. The Cosmo Shaker was produced in blue and black versions.
