Originally commissioned by Swedish tobacco company Blend alongside several other designers to design ashtrays for promotional purposes, the circular glass ashtray was shaped like a slightly deformed Orgone shape with grooves machined into the top. Marc used the ashtray in green for Coast Restaurant, and the design was later picked up by Habitat who produced a hollow version called ‘Urchin’.
