Marc wanted to create objects that were practical and easy to use. The ergonomic hourglass shaped containers were made of crystallised glass and a highly polished stainless-steel lid, secured with a rubber seal. The top of the cruet set holder innovatively lifts to secure the cruets while being carried to and from the table, and slides back down to allow cruets to be easily accessed when on the table.
