Heineken-branded THE SUB is a draught beer lifestyle appliance that allows users to enjoy draught beer at home. The device - part beer cooler, part draught pouring machine - works as a dispenser for a beer container known as THE TORP, a two-litre keg which completes the system enabling consumers to pour perfect quality, super-chilled beers. Marc worked with Heineken to create a THE SUB for their beer, featuring an aluminium body and distinctive green detailing that recalls Heineken’s iconic bottles.

“This was a great opportunity to partner with Heineken and Krups (the manufacturer of THE SUB) on a completely new, unique close-keg technology. There was a certain level of complexity to the design due to the mechanics of the machine which essentially contains complex plumbing and electrics. With this particular project i was very aware of the potential user of this product – actually someone like myself - who would get a kick out of delivering a cold draught beer to friends at home from an attractive piece of equipment.”
