Marc was invited by the London Design Festival to design an exterior object or large sculpture to be sold at auction after the festival. The large mushroom-shaped pavilion, named ‘Supercell’, is made of laser-cut enamelled steel panels in a hexagonal pattern. The enamel, in celadon green, pale blue and mauve, acts as a protectant of the steel from erosion. Marc worked alongside Festival sponsor ArcelorMittal for this project and the pavilion was located on London’s Southbank.
