In this new version of the Hourglass, a single piece of borosilicate blown glass is filled with titanium nanoballs. An evolution of the stainless-steel nanoballs in previous editions, titanium allows for a greater colour range through anodisation. To celebrate the publication of Marc’s monograph, Marc Newson Works: 84-24 (TASCHEN), the titanium nanoballs are anodised in a bright, opaline blue to match the cover of the book, designed by Richard Allan.
