Marc collaborated on this project with his long-term friend and renowned art director, Joel Berg. Together they created six products: a trolley, duffel bag, garment bag, suitcase and a quarantottore –a business briefcase designed to carry overnight essentials. Ferrari owners can order the products in five shades of classic Ferrari interior colours, with a special additional vinaccia burgundy hue specially developed for this collection. The collection is available exclusively through each car’s personalisation catalogue and is designed to fit in the boot of a Ferrari “much like oysters fit in their shells.”

Marc and Joel looked at Ferrari roadsters past and present to find colours, textures, shapes and ideas for the luggage collection. For instance, the external leather pattern takes its cue from the cam covers of Ferrari engines, whilst the aluminium detailing on the luggage references elements of the cars, and are made using the same suppliers in Italy.

“The handles draw inspiration from the classic Ferrari steering wheel, while the sliding mechanism of the roller was designed applying the same technique used for the pedals of LaFerrari - one of the most iconic supercars of the ‘Prancing Horse.’ The suitcases are not conceived only to be matched to the cars: they have to be able to accompany the buyer on every journey- whether by car, plane, boat or helicopter.”
