Industrial Designer

Marc Newson is one of the most acclaimed and influential designers of his generation. He has worked across a wide range of disciplines, creating everything from furniture and household objects, to bicycles and cars, private and commercial aircraft, yachts, various architectural commissions, and signature sculptural pieces for clients across the globe.
Job description:
- Work across multiple technically demanding projects across a variety of sectors including but not limited to product, marine, furniture, automotive, interior/exterior architecture.
- Develop designs from sketch to presentation renderings to detailed 3D models
- Periodic travel to client sites (mainly Europe, potentially the US and Japan)
- Full-time role based in our Central London studio (NB: this is an in-studio role rather than a hybrid or work from home position)
General Requirements:
- 4-8 years’ post-graduation with relevant work experience in Industrial Design including with luxury products.
- Excellent technical and 3D modelling skills, with solid experience in, and understanding of processes and materials
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Self- motivated and able to lead a design project from inception to delivery
- Good time management skills; delivering work on time and to a high standard
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, including being able to confidently present to and correspond with clients directly
- Must work well within a varied team
- Fluency in English
Technical Requirements:
- Advanced 3D modelling skills with excellent proficiency in Rhino and/or Solidworks
- Proficient in 3D rendering to presentation standard.
- Knowledge of Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)

Press and Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking candidates to apply for the role of Press and Social Media Coordinator.
Job description:
- Act as first point of contact for press enquiries and requests
- Maintain and complete the modernisation of the studio’s archive and published press library
- Oversee Instagram account with focus on proactive content management and content development
- Copywrite (e.g. press quotations, social media, website text)
- Organise and attend press interviews and support planning of launches, events, awards
- Monitor media and suggest pro-active press opportunities
- Part-time, office-based role in our Central London studio. Potential for full-time hours if sought by the ideal candidate.
General Requirements:
- Relevant work experience, ideally in a similar role, for 3-6 years
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel)
- Polished written and spoken English with the ability to copywrite
- Good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and juggle numerous ongoing activities
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as French or Italian would be beneficial
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK/sponsorship not available
