Designed to be worn over clothes, the Large POD Watch (measuring 60mm in diameter) is a circular aluminium wristwatch with bevelled edges and convex glass window forming the dial cover on the front and the mechanism cover on the reverse.  The dial is formed of concentric discs with orbiting dots for the hour and minute, as well as dots at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. The convex glass mechanism cover on the reverse reveals the self-winding mechanism movement. The watch has a crown adjustor, aluminium strap lugs and black neoprene rubber watch strap with a machined metal ‘nipple’ that fits into a hole to secure the watch. This feature can be seen on many of Marc’s later Ikepod watches where he used the same type of closure.
