Dassault Falcon 900B
View textThe Dassault Falcon 900B, a triple-engine transoceanic jet, was Marc’s first aviation project and commissioned by a private client.
Marc was given carte blanche for the design of the interior and livery. The interiors featured a black, silver and acid green colour scheme with lacquered elements including tables, side panels and wall dividers. Individual elements designed by Marc included seating (some with a convertible bed option), sofas, tray tables, carpets, and a range of fixtures, fittings and lighting.
For the exterior, starting with a bare fuselage, Marc asked his friend and longtime collaborator, Australian artist and graphic designer Richard Allan to design the livery. Allan designed a pattern of circles of increasing density, a version of a blown up dot screen fade, that communicates the aeronautical aesthetic of nose-first movement.
